~some interesting developments~


I've just recently acquired this 1930s Atlas lathe of my grandfather's.

I found out that it comes with some sort of milling attachments, as it was Sears attempt at a completely universal tool. Though, the attachments I received seem to be from some other piece of equipment and might need some modification to work properly.

At any rate, it should prove useful in finishing up the machining on this musical man project, of which has been a bit derelict for some time now:




This is its backbone....which sits on a universal joint, which is then mounted floating above the base.
